The problem
The quoted market price does not tell the full story of an order. Size, available liquidity, fees, and execution behavior influence the estimated cost.
How it comes together
A controller connects exchange WebSocket data to an order-book parser and simulation engine, then updates a PySide6 interface with cost estimates and market information.
Follow the flow.
Live exchange order-book feeds.
Slippage, impact, and exchange-fee estimates.
Maker/taker prediction for a selected order size.
A provider boundary designed for multiple exchanges.
Why this approach?
Separate market-data handling, simulation logic, and UI state so changes to one exchange adapter do not reshape the entire application.
